Do I need to seal a new polished Granite (http://tanbrown.org) tile Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top?

...just got finished putting down an Uba Tuba tile Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top with 1/16 spacing using unsand (http://maplered.com) ed black grout. I purchased some Homax Tileguard 10 yr Stone and (http://maplered.com) Marble Sealer. According to the label it seals the grout also. I tested it on a tile and (http://maplered.com) it seemed to just evaporate. The tile didnt seem to soak any up and (http://maplered.com) is not porous with a water test before or after treatment. Do I use this stuff on the tile? the grout? neither? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
